SINAMICS S210
The SINAMICS S210 system comprises a servo converter and a servomotor and mainly addresses solutions demanding high dynamic performance in the power range from 50 W to 7 kW. Machine safety functions are integrated. The connection to a higher controller is established via PROFINET IRT communication, fast commissioning via the TIA Portal or the integrated web server, and One Button Tuning.
The SINAMICS S210 Servo Drive
The new SINAMICS S210 servo drive system is setting higher standards for dynamic applications in many industries thanks to improved hardware and software as well as integrated safety and technology functions. The SINAMICS S210 system consists of a servo drive and a servo motor and is designed for solutions with high dynamics in the power range from 50 W to 7 kW.
New features
The new hardware architecture offers functional enhancements such as a second encoder interface and a 3C3-compliant coating to protect the components from certain environmental influences. With the new software generation V6, commissioning is simplified by the revised web server.
The SINAMICS S210 innovations also include functions such as the basic positioner, achievement of the SIL3 PL e safety standard, and user management and access control features for more security.
In addition, it is now possible to communicate with a third-party control via EtherNet/IP. Another highlight is the option of simulating the drive system with the digital twin via TIA Portal with DriveSim Advanced.
