With the company seeing rapid growth at its Penrith manufacturing site, it has placed increasing demands on its internal industrial networks. As operations expanded, network complexity grew – introducing issues such as loops, duplicate IP addresses, and legacy devices that failed to meet site networking standards. PG facilitated discussions between Roxane UK and HMS Networks, its manufacturing partner, introducing the Anybus Atlas2 Plus – a robust network diagnostic solution tailored for industrial Ethernet environments. To deepen understanding, PG organised dedicated sessions on internal networking and NIS2 compliance, enabling Roxane UK to assess how Atlas could enhance network resilience and regulatory alignment.
Following an initial demonstration, Roxane UK invested in a single device. Its rapid success prompted a full-scale deployment, with an Atlas unit installed on every VLAN across the site.
