With the company seeing rapid growth at its Penrith manufacturing site, it has placed increasing demands on its internal industrial networks. As operations expanded, network complexity grew – introducing issues such as loops, duplicate IP addresses, and legacy devices that failed to meet site networking standards. At the same time, Roxane UK was focused on strengthening its infrastructure to align with NIS2 cybersecurity requirements.

PG facilitated discussions between Roxane UK and HMS Networks, its manufacturing partner, introducing the Anybus Atlas2 Plus – a robust network diagnostic solution tailored for industrial Ethernet environments. To deepen understanding, PG organised dedicated sessions on internal networking and NIS2 compliance, enabling Roxane UK to assess how Atlas could enhance network resilience and regulatory alignment.
Following an initial demonstration, Roxane UK invested in a single device. Its rapid success prompted a full-scale deployment, with an Atlas unit installed on every VLAN across the site.

Together, they diagnosed and resolved the issue efficiently. - Enhancing SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) Visibility and Network Infrastructure
To enable Atlas to accurately identify endpoints and monitor switch ports, PG supplied a Siemens managed switch solution suitable for installation within factory panels. This upgrade ensured proper SNMP communication and reinforced overall network resilience. - Hands-On Deployment Support
PG expedited device delivery, assisted with initial setup, and remained available for on-site support throughout the rollout.
