Step 1: Initial Consultation & Site Survey

  • Objective: Understand the customer’s energy challenges, business goals, and infrastructure.

  • Activities:

    • Discuss energy usage goals (cost reduction, sustainability, compliance).

    • Conduct a site visit to assess current energy-consuming assets.

    • Identify existing monitoring systems (if any).

    • Gather baseline energy consumption data (manual or from utility bills).

Activities:
Discuss energy usage goals (cost reduction, sustainability, compliance). Conduct a site visit to assess current energy-consuming assets. Identify existing monitoring systems (if any). Gather baseline energy consumption data (manual or from utility bills).

Step 2: Energy Audit & Needs Analysis

Objective: Evaluate energy usage patterns and identify inefficiencies. Activities: Perform a detailed energy audit. Identify energy waste, power quality issues, and peak demand times. Highlight opportunities for improvement or investment (e.g., metering upgrades).

Step 3: Solution Design & Proposal

Objective: Develop a tailored energy management solution.
Activities:
Design a system . Define hardware (e.g., certified meters, gateways) and software (e.g., SCADA, cloud dashboards). Consider integration into existing automation or BMS systems. Provide ROI analysis and payback period estimations. Present proposal with clear scope, deliverables, and costs.

Step 4: Installation & Commissioning

Objective: Deploy and configure the energy monitoring solution.
Activities:
Supply and install metering and communication infrastructure. Configure devices.. Integrate with existing control systems or create new visualisation dashboards. Perform system commissioning and testing for data accuracy.

Step 5: Data Collection, Monitoring & Visualisation

(e.g., Siemens Energy Manager or third-party platforms). Enable alarms, KPIs, and performance analytics. Set up automated reports (daily, weekly, monthly).

Objective: Continuously optimize energy performance.
Activities:
Perform regular analysis to identify new energy-saving opportunities. Benchmark against targets or industry standards. Recommend actions like load shifting, equipment upgrades, or behavioural changes. Offer training for client teams. Provide ongoing technical support and system updates.

Step 7: Compliance & Reporting

Objective: Help meet regulatory or internal compliance requirements.
Activities:
Ensure solutions meet ISO 50001, ESOS, SECR, or other regulations. Generate reports for audits or corporate sustainability. Validate MID certification for billing or cost allocation.

Step 8: Long-Term Partnership & Expansion

Objective: Support future scaling and deeper integration.
Activities:
Expand monitoring to other areas (compressed air, HVAC, water). Integrate with predictive maintenance or MES systems. Offer regular reviews and upgrades based on business evolution.
