Wholesaler Hotline and Business Development - Gateshead

We are looking to recruit 2 people to work in our Business Development Group based within our facility in Gateshead. As a national role you will be working with our branches to help develop new opportunities including managing the telephone hotline for Electrical Wholesalers.  This will require you to provide non-technical quotations as well as process customer orders across wide range of factory automation products.


In addition you will assist in developing various digital marketing campaigns to generate new sales opportunities which will mean proactively contacting new and existing customers by telephone.


We are looking for a team leader to manage the department and an additional person to work alongside the existing team.
The ideal candidates should have a good understanding of telesales, with excellent telephone skills. An understanding of the electrical wholesale industry would an advantage but not essential.

 

External Sales - Gateshead & Gloucester

External sales specialists preferably with experience in PLCs, Drives, Process Instrumentation or Low Voltage Control out of the above locations.

 

Internal Sales - Manchester, Menston & Hayes

Internal sales and support specialists with experience in:
•Industrial Control and Automation working from the above branches.

 

The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, well-motivated sales professionals with proven track records. At PG you will enjoy the benefits of using a well-established sales strategy and will be working closely with our suppliers in order to maintain our steady growth in these areas.
