Industrial Event Camera

Event camera for recording video sequences with Livestream function;mounting distance: 0.5 m to infinite;internal video ring buffer with a pre-run buffer for recording an event up to 60 seconds before and after a trigger event;trigger video/image capture via UDP, HTTP REST API, or a digital hardware input

Industrial Event Camera

Overview

VOC Event Camera

The event camera (IP65/- 30° to + 50°C) continuously records the last 60 seconds of the video stream. It provides a 24/7 live view of your application as well as an internal ring buffer to capture a video recording 60 seconds before and after a trigger event. Digital hardware input allows simple integration for event recording and improved error analysis. Full HMI integration is possible thanks to REST API.

At a Glance:

  • Event-driven video recordings up to 60 s before and after the trigger signal—for simple remote diagnosis or automatic documentation.
  • Fast analysis: recording of relevant situations with timestamp and individual additional text.
  • Easy integration into IT systems via REST API and to standard HMI displays with RTSP
  • Flexible use due to large viewing area, high operating temperature range and IP65 degree of protection
  • High efficiency: reduced network load through optimised local data storage.

Applications

Automated high-bay warehouses with stacker cranes are designed to create maximum throughput while avoiding breakdowns and downtime—even at the lowest temperatures of –30° C in deep-freeze warehouses. The industrial event camera is mounted directly on the stacker crane and monitors the storage and retrieval processes so that employees can take immediate action in the event of malfunctions.

The VOC event camera enables reliable monitoring of sensor-secured access areas. If a machine or system is stopped by the access guarding, the recording of the trigger event is available for remote access. Based on the short video sequence, the control room can immediately make decisions on how to proceed.

Build innovative machines faster without costly prototyping with Efficient Motion Control.

With Effective Motion Control, machine builders can easily overcome major challenges and enable faster time-to-market, increased functionality, resolve complex system requirements, and demands for safety and sustainability.
