Single Phase Monitors
The highly sophisticated CM-S range in ABB’s new S-line housing offers two different types of connection terminals and is ideally suited for universal use. Double-chamber cage connection terminals Double-chamber cage connection terminals make it possible to connect fires up to 2 x 2.5 mm2 (2 x 14 AWG), rigid or fine-strand, with or without ferrules. Potential distribution does not require additional terminals. Easy connect technology Innovative push-in connection terminals for tool-free installation. The connection is gas-proof and has the same direction as the double-chamber cage connection terminals.
Single phase voltage and current monitors protect sensitive equipment and control systems against undervoltage (brownout) or undercurrent events or overvoltage or overcurrent events. Different units with adjustable or fixed threshold values (trip points) are available.
Current monitoring relays
CM-Sxx range
The current monitoring relays are available with different AC and DC measuring ranges:
- > 3 – 30 mA
- > 10 – 100 mA
- > 0.1 – 1 A
- > 0.3 – 1,5 A
- > 1 – 5 A
- > 3 – 15 A
If higher AC currents have to be measured, current transformers (CT) can be used to scale up the measuring range
Single function, multifunction and windows monitoring function is available.
Supply voltage:
- > 24 – 240 V AC/DC
- > 110 – 130 V AC
- > 220 – 240 V AC
Optionally latching function can be selected as well as open or closed circuit principle. Devices with adjustable tripping delay are available.
Voltage monitoring relays
CM-Exx range
The voltage monitoring relays are available with different AC and DC measuring ranges:
- > 3 – 30 V
- > 6 – 60 V
- > 30 – 300 V
- > 60 – 600 V
Single function, multifunction and windows monitoring function is available.
Supply voltage:
- > 24 – 240 V AC/DC
- > 110 – 130 V AC
- > 220 – 240 V AC
Optionally latching function can be selected as well as open or closed circuit principle. Devices with adjustable tripping delay are available.
