IO-Link
Overview
IO-Link closes the gap in communication on the last steps to the process
Consistent automation is only possible with sensors and actuators. The smart connection of sensors and substations to the control level ensures precise and profitable production. The communication standard IO-Link is ideally suited to this purpose. Integrating all components is simplified by IO-Link in switchboards and IO-Link on the field level. They ensure maximal consistency and efficiency on the last steps to the process and thereby seamless communication.
Product-specific IO-Link advantages
-
Seamless integration of IO-Link-certified sensors and actuators into TIA
-
Standardized engineering from master to device - all data in one S7 project
-
PtP communication with IO-Link-certified devices by Siemens and from the field
-
Transparent, central diagnostics for all IO-Link devices
-
Master available in two protection classes (IP20/IP65)
-
Transparent depiction of all field device parameters
-
Dynamic changing of the parameters directly by the controller
-
Easy function mapping in STEP 7 through freely available function block
-
Firmware updates directly over the fieldbus
