National Vertical Sales Manager
Location: Home-based or at any of our nine UK locations
Term: Permanent | Full-time
Following an internal promotion, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a proven sales leader to step into this dynamic and varied role. You will lead and inspire a team of 7–8 sales professionals across multiple technology sectors, including process instrumentation, cyber security, robotics, motion control, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating, and developing the national vertical sales team to deliver growth and achieve targets.
- Driving sales strategies across a diverse portfolio, ensuring strong performance in each technology sector.
- Building and maintaining high-value relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the industrial automation market.
- Ensuring technical understanding of products and solutions, including PLC systems.
- Regular travel across the UK, including overnight stays, to support customers and the sales team.
Skill requirements include:
- Proven track record in sales leadership within the industrial automation sector.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems and associated technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage a remote team effectively.
- Good IT skills are essential.
