Inductive Sensors for Reliable Object Detection in High-Temperature Ranges up to 250°C
The Pepperl+Fuchs F135 series is a line of inductive high-temperature sensors designed for reliable object detection in extreme industrial environments.
Minimal Temperature Drift and Long Service Life
The new F135 series inductive high-temperature sensors are built for extreme environments, operating reliably at temperatures up to 250 °C. They offer minimal temperature drift, ensuring consistent detection performance even under harsh conditions. The sensors deliver a long service life with high detection reliability. If the sensor head needs replacing, there’s no need to reparameterise the amplifier or adjust the operating distance using a potentiometer, simplifying maintenance and reducing downtime.
Key features and characteristics
- High Temperature Operation: The F135 series can withstand temperatures up to 250°C, making them suitable for applications like industrial paint curing ovens in the automotive industry.
- Long Operating Distance: These sensors offer an operating distance of up to 50 mm, providing increased flexibility in installation and use.
- IO-Link Interface: Equipped with an IO-Link interface, the F135 series allows seamless integration into Industry 4.0 applications, enabling continuous communication between the control and field level, parameterization, and transmission of diagnostics information.
- Predictive Maintenance: The sensors provide valuable status and maintenance information, including switching cycle and operating hours counters, supporting predictive maintenance planning.
- Simplified Installation and Maintenance: Variable cable lengths (1m to 30m in 5m increments) and the possibility to replace individual sensor head and amplifier components simplify installation and maintenance, offering plug-and-play functionality.
- Minimal Temperature Drift and Long Service Life: The F135 series features minimal temperature drift of the operating distance and boasts an exceptionally long service life with high detection reliability.
