Objective

Few engineers would be prepared to state that they are familiar with all aspects of the regulations, standards and risk management technologies relating to machinery safety. But this four-day course from Pilz presents all of this material in a single training package suitable for electrical and mechanical engineers and engineering managers.

In addition to classroom sessions, there are also practical exercises and examinations. On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive both a City & Guilds paper certificate and a City & Guilds Assured Digital Credential – a City & Guilds Assured Digital Credential is essentially a digital certificate. Unlike a paper certificate, digital credentials are easily shareable, verifiable and trackable all in one click.

Delegates will also receive 28 hours of CPD points – CPD points measure time and quality of learning. Points can be collected in a personal portfolio, allowing participants to track their professional development and progression. Completion of this course shows the delegate has acquired the knowledge to understand the complete Machinery Safety Lifecycle, from design and modification to decommissioning.
